Poplar Forest is a plantation and house designed by Thomas Jefferson in the early 1800s. Jefferson used the property as a private retreat and a revenue-generating plantation. Today Poplar Forest holds many events throughout the year for guests to experience the natural beauty and architectural wonders of this National Historic Landmark.
